This project consists in two parts.
dance and physical theatre improvisation and composition workshop / laboratory
and as result a final public presentation(s).
THE TOPIC(S)
This project can be adapted to different topics.
The central theme will be chosen according to the needs of the organizers.
We have already treated the issues of transformation, dreams, the other: barriers and limits, diversity...
WORKSHOP / LABORATORY
Each working session is composed of:
★ Guided improvisations:
as a way to research and develop as much as analyse, understand and enlarge performing experience.
★ Using props, costumes, pictures, texts, music, videos ... so that, all those elements can contaminate and trigger your imagination.
★ Instant compositions
Create scenes, scenic materials and choreographic phrases. Consciousness & assimilation of the improvisations thanks to composition and creation tools
FINAL PUBLIC PRESENTATION(S)
This is a unique opportunity to experience the process of creating a performance in a respectful way on the personality of each one and both with high standards of quality and everyone’s commitment.
The performance’s material comes out of guided improvisations and is subsequently developed and enriched throughout the sessions.
Following the final performance, each participant receives a free copy of the video footage and photos taken while playing.
GOALS
As a result of this work, the participants will:
★ Develop their personality as well as their creativity potential.
★ through a presence in the “Here and Now” connect their imagination to their body movements.
★ Work with their body and its expression, its presence, its spatial significance, its conscious and unconscious images …therefore, its own language.
★ To acquire new improvisational & composition tools and skills and choreographies.
