Mylena Leclercq is an artist, choreographer, multidisciplinary teacher from Belgium and France.
A former Olympic-level synchronized swimming champion, she trained in dance around the world and has collaborated with Marie Béland (Canada), William Forsythe (Germany), Charleroi-Danses (Belgium), Franco Dragone (the house of dancing water in China and AIDA in Naples), José Besprosvany (Belgium), Thierry Smith (Belgium), Carole Laure (Canada), Lionel Hun (Hybride cie, France), Philippe Talard (Luxembourg), Phare the Cambodian circus (Cambodia) , Okus lab, Cirque du Soleil (Canada), FMX international, Jordi Vidal,…
She teaches in various international artistic institutions and her choreographies have won prizes on several occasions...
As a choreographer, she has directed and danced several pieces presented in Asia, Canada, the USA, Europe and founded her own company with Manu Di Martino named '' OKUS dance and visual lab '' in Belgium in 2008 with 6 creations to her credit played on the Belgian and European stages and in various festivals and prestigious events (Breakin convention, Transnomade, ...) She also rubs shoulders with the world of circus, theater, improvisation, musicals, cinema, prisons,… She quickly put her signature between dance and water!
She is a coach in Pilates, water sports and a professional in different massage techniques (shiatsu, organ and energy massage, etc.)
She is also a paramedic and takes care of child welfare in various schools!
